THE OBJECTIVE

To increase brand awareness of Pearse Lyons Distillery as a tourist attraction in Dublin. Pearse Lyons Distillery had to understand a tourist’s path to purchase and where they fitted into that decision making process. We conducted in-depth research to provide Pearse Lyons Distillery with insights into which marketing tools to employ in order to increase visitor numbers.

THE OUTCOME

The research conducted by 27 of our advisors was presented to Pearse Lyons Distillery, who have since made adjustments to their marketing mix based on our research.

THE IDEA

We explored the general trends and patterns within the Dublin tourism industry by investigating a number of key factors. Once we understood the decision making process of tourists visiting attractions in Dublin, we identified the key success factors for the choice of a particular attraction. This enabled us to assist Pearse Lyons Distillery in allocating their marketing budget to effectively tailor future marketing strategies.
