Checksolo

Checksolo is a Dublin-based software-as-a-service (SaaS) start-up that launched in 2015. The company aims to optimise their clients’ workflow through its quality management system (QMS) called VERTHOS.

VERTHOS streamlines business functions through a customisable and easy-to-use QMS for clients in various industries by ensuring that operational requirements are being met, allowing them to focus on achieving their goals with minimal operational risk.

THE OPPORTUNITY

The COVID-19 pandemic quickly disrupted the modern workplace. As work-from-home became the norm, the way that businesses operated – and continue to operate – became more disparate. Because of this, Checksolo realised that, in order to promote sustainable growth, a mass-market approach would not be feasible. They contacted the UCD Marketing Development Practice (MDP) for advice on how to best adapt their business development strategies in the ever changing modern market to grow their business.

 

THE CHALLENGE

Using extensive research methods, the MDP assessed market behaviour and consumer trends through the lenses of various company types in multiple industries in Ireland and the UK. The insights developed allowed the MDP to develop a strategy for Checksolo to implement that would facilitate their ability to increase their client base and achieve company objectives.

 

THE RESULT

The strategy focused on specifically targeting testing and calibration laboratories with certain criteria in a multiple industries and positioning the VERTHOS product accordingly.

Complemented with branding and communications recommendations, Checksolo has implemented the recommended strategy to grow brand awareness and continue providing their clients with an adaptable, integrated, and affordable product with high-quality customer service.
